Background

Freetrain was an established brand entering Amazon for the first time, launching into a highly competitive Running Vest category dominated by both branded and non-branded competitors. The objective was to introduce the product to the marketplace, build credibility quickly, and establish visibility against well-known alternatives.

The Challenge

The account launched without historical performance in a crowded category, requiring rapid traction while competitors continued to enter the market. Ranking, review velocity, and brand protection were all critical factors, alongside the need to maintain control as copycat products began appearing.

Actions Taken

We built conversion-focused listings using Freetrain’s existing marketing assets, supported by deep keyword research and continuous optimisation as the category evolved. Both V1 and VR products were enrolled in Vine to accelerate review growth. We developed A+ Content and a branded Storefront using athlete ambassadors to strengthen brand positioning. In parallel, we executed ongoing design right enforcement through Brand Registry to remove infringing listings and protect market position.

Results & Achievements

  • Page 1 rankings for “running vest” and multiple leading search terms within 60 days

  • Over 300 sales in the first 60 days, stabilising at an average of 600 sales per month within six months

  • £5,000+ in direct sales generated through the Amazon Storefront alone

  • 14% ACOS and 7.5% TACOS with strong visibility across all branded keywords
