We were tasked to help grape tree grow their Amazon business, they have a successful D2C website and a large range of brick-and-mortar stores nationwide.

The large size of the inventory meant pinning down accurate accountability in the numbers was difficult, despite getting good early on sales and a good occurrence of NTB (new to brand) customers, as well as organising and prioritising the product ranges and making sure they were fully optimised.

We drilled into the numbers heavily, analysed the entire profitability strategy for the catalogue, reviewed and fixed a large amount of tax codes that had been setup incorrectly and given data poor overinflation. This allowed us to build a better strategy through more cost effective shipping options, including moving bestsellers to Fulfilment by Amazon, redeveloping retail price points and fully optimise the catalogue

  • Net profitability increased from 9% to 24.5% in less than 5 months.

  • Built a 141% sales increase Year on year.

  • Reduced shipping costs to consumers from 36% to 19.4%
